I don't want to speak too early, but this is the type of writing by Penelope Ward that I have been missing. Finally she is making a combat, and my book slump is slowly diminishing...

Not gonna lie to y'all... I went into this novel with the blind spot of reading a new author...

I am finishing this novel with the love and admiration towards Maya Hughes with a new level of obsession that I also felt the first time I read the OFF CAMPUS series by Elle Kennedy. Maya Hughes is my new favorite author y'all!

How "COCKY" can you possibly be to trademark the word "COCKY" from letting any other romance author use it? The fact that this author did this makes me question what kind of romance novels she may write... Like seriously, are you THAT much of an ASSHOLE?

That man is such an enigma. He annoys the hell out of me by telling me I'm not allowed to go on any more blind dates, turns around and does something so incredibly sweet it moved me to tears, and then gets ticked off when I try to thank him. He says he's no one's hero, but his actions prove otherwise.

Me waiting for a book to drop and checking amazon every ten minutes... even though the book drops the following day but I am too anxious for it...

I have officially learned my lesson to stop working with Indie authors and just focus on ARC novels that are with publishers who do not ask for specifics or take advantage of my time by making me think one thing over the other...

Can anyone recommend any romance books with possessive alpha males, either office romances, sports romances, or single father romances?

This past weekend was one that I have struggled through the most, & I am glad that my true friends have shown their true colors for the support that they have given me. Being a shady friend is not something that I will tolerate. Especially when you are the victim.
