God, this narrator is awful. Dead delivery. No distinction between characters. Terrible pronunciation or pretty basic words. The story is interesting, though, so I'll push through.

Something about this book is starting to feel toxic and gross. West treats women, including Maggie, like trash.

Something about their first exchange made me really uncomfortable. It crossed a line between "alpha hero" and straight up asshole.
She repeatedly asks him to leave her alone and he constantly does that douchbag guy thing of he can't possibly believe she doesn't want him and keeps harassing her. Gross.

this was brutally bad. I don't mind the cliffhanger, but the abuse of the English language was hard to tolerate. Extremely amaturish writing and plot.

I don't think I can stand another one of these mc douches who thinks plan b is the same as "killing my baby" Christ almighty.

I'm bored but keep hearing how great this book is so. I'll. try to stick with it. Miles seems like a bit of a pussy.

Why is Shame always such a mega-douche? He does shitty stuff to Mace and then blames her for reacting to it like a human being. I can't believe I am even still reading this mess. When a character has to tell you she's not a footmarks, it's usually because she is.

OMG this is the worst book I've read in awhile. Bad writing, horrible dialogue, stupid characters. WTF!? This should have stayed under someone's bed. There isn't enough editing in the world to fix this mess.

Meh. There were some good moments. Most of it is pretty unbelievable though

The passive voice and telling even in the "current" story is getting on my nerves.

Mr. Noble is starting to sound like an egomaniacle douche.

I'm only 6% in and already I'm painfully reminded of why I usually steer clear of NA. Willa is insufferable.

Can't finish. It's so bad it actually put me off reading for awhiel. Too many POV shifts. A heroine who behaves like a child. And it's boring. I'm done. Throwing in the towel.
