Why is Shame always such a mega-douche? He does shitty stuff to Mace and then blames her for reacting to it like a human being. I can't believe I am even still reading this mess. Actually at this point, I'm kind of just skimming through all the long boring internal dialogue. Man, this mess needed an editor in the worst way!
