Oh gawd! The audio narration is painful. These kids better die early on because I can't put up with these voices for 14 hours.

I could really do with this being more character driven. Feels like it's been nothing but infodumps so far.

Giggled at the thought of Jennifer reading this.

Audio narrator has a weird modulating USian accent that makes me want to punch them in the throat. Some sntences start in the mid west and end in the deep south for the single character. Pick an accent and stick with it ffs!

No idea why the narrator chose to give multiple iterations (clones) of the same person different voices.

48 pages of recapping and stupidity so far. Looking like I'll be giving up on the series at this point.

This is really good, but there's a jerkiness to the story partially due to the multiple pov changes that makes it too easy to put down for my liking.

Trying, and failing, to do with World War 2 what Murmur of Bees did with Spanish Flu. At least so far.

I should DNF this but I'm stubborn.

This book asks a lot of its reader to fill in gaps in the story that Gibson seemed to not care about writing. Frequently asking 'how did we get here?!' as if I dozed off and missed a paragraph or two. If I were reading the physical book I'd be checking the page numbers to be sure someone hadn't torn a page out.

My days of not taking cyberpunk seriously are coming to a middle.

"Ma'am, I know its not for the public but may I please use your bathroom."

Unrelated to this book, but this practice of denying people hygienic methods of disposing with waste is ridiculous. Anyone that enforces it deserves to have feaces left in their doorway.

This is not a good story but I can tolerate the audiobook to get to the end.

Damn it to hell. I was enjoying this until Salo became an idiot overnight. It was a minor gripe when it initially happened, but as I read on there's a part of me screaming inside that this is fucking stupid and I can't trust anything in the story to be consistent now.

It is quicker and easier to get ahead in society by exercising charm, uniting assassins and putting out disinformation than by producing new ideas and things.

Don't know why I'm still listening to this audiobook. Haven't enjoyed the tone of the narration or the story generally.

Resumed reading this in audio as its the only way I could possibly finish it.

Shouldn't have dismissed the comments about how repetitive the content is and whether it would bother me. It does.

Potential Love square? Love 3 pointed star? Can someone die now please.

I really hope this is a standalone. I want an ending!

Hints of enemies to lovers and the setup of a love triangle to be stomped down upon.
