I'm struggling with this book. I don't think it is the book persee. Maybe I don't like gothic? Maybe it's too slow? Maybe I grew up too Pentecostal for all of the satanic references? I don't know. But my mood reading brain was kind of done, and then I got to a certain part of the book. So maybe we aren't done after all? I'm a mood reader, but my brain won't let me DNF, so here we are.

This is definitely a polyamorous, paranormal romance and my little heart is totally here for it! I am enjoying this book immensely!

Lifting my head from my Susan Stoker Benj to ask what books you might read that would be considered cozy fantasy. Is there even such a thing? I am also looking for books in the genre that deal with trauma and healing. Bonus if there is a romantic bent, or found family!

I was thinking about the amount of stress that I put myself under last year when I tried to do this reading challenge. Ever since I decided to put down a number and say that I don't care whether or not I hit the mark, it has been much more fun for me. I reached my goal and extended it. So we will see!

I was in a terrible book slump, so it feels really good to be out of it and reading books strike my fancy.

The bad stuff is going down and I'm afraid to continue! I can't handle it! What if things don't come out OK?

I did not realize just how much I was going to enjoy this book. I have kind of given up on reading books with bondage of any kind. But this book really surprised me, and it is so good! So emotional!

I went in to this book believing that it was going to be a fun and fluffy read. Don't get me wrong, it is definitely fun and there is nothing wrong with fluffy but I'm scared for these characters and their future.

I am legitimately frightened for everybody involved! I have no idea of how the happily-ever-after is going to be achieved. Hold me!

This book is really stressing me out! The villain is really awful! I mean, even for Nora Roberts villains. But, it's so good. :-)

Apparently, I am too stupid to figure out how to do this from the website so no nuanced commentary for me about this book as long as I have to dictate it from my phone.

I am still enjoying the book immensely. There are so many wonderful issues that are tackled carefully and respectfully. I love the characters, the plot, and everything about this book. It is probably one of the most underrated books I have ever read.

This book is absolutely delightful! I have not met the hero yet, but I love Lizzie! I love Angela! It is so fascinating, and I wonder what is going to happen with everyone. Also, oh my God! She wants to buy Christmas presents for the kids! I love this so much. Major dislike on the priest though!

You guys, I am so afraid for the characters in this book. The writing is so emotional, and the suspense is on point. I have some real legitimate fears for these people.

This book has so much going for it. Being stranded on an alien planet, having to acclimate to different cultures and participate any cultural exchange, really fantastic aliens, for the most part very awesome and diverse women, and so much more. This book is about nine hours long electronically. I am enjoying it so much!

This writer always breaks my heart. I can’t believe she made this choice! :-(

What a heartbreaking turn this book just took. 😭

I have no idea of how I am supposed to handle this book. This is Karen Rose kind of dark, and so very good. But I’m scared, guys!

This book is just plain heartbreaking. It switches from the present to the past, and we start to learn more about Victoria and what led her to be in the psychiatric hospital. I will finish this tomorrow.

I don't know how I feel about what I'm reading right now. It seems to be full of mystery. Naturally, it is the second book in the series when I have not even read the first. So we shall see what will happen.

The queen in this book is worse than the game of thrones lady!

Gritty. very hard to read. characters are amazing, and Oliver breaks my heart. angsty McAngsterson all the way. I think after this I will need to read a book about hugging care bears.

This book is freaking me out a little. The villain is scary, or maybe I am just easily creeped out. I'm sure there is a plot twist coming, and since I inadvertently read a spoiler in someone's review in future books, I have a feeling I might know what. This is still so incredibly good and her writing is spot on!

This is so good. I usually don't like first person books, but gosh I love this. Where has this series been all my life? Great world building, and it takes place on the Eastern side of this state.

Oh my gosh. I never want to finish this series. The characters are great, imperfect and deliciously real. I love them. Also, please don't kill who I think you might kill, okay? *bites nails*

I hope characters make it to the end of this book. I know that there is a sequel but I'm getting really worried. The author has a way of ramping up the tension. It's freezing cold. Reading the book makes me cold as she describes winter. Also, look at all these badasses coming out late in the game. So many secrets. I know there's a sequel. They'll be okay, right? Right?

My heart hurts for Charles and Anna and for Asil as well. I want all of these characters to find peace. Anna is doing her best, but it's so hard after what she went through. Charles is so awesome, and it's great watching them make mistakes. Bran is this enigma, and is awesome, but I cannot stand that brat he calls a mate. GRR. Also, the descriptions of a Montana winter are making me so cold!
