Perry is starting Missy Goes to West Point (Missy the Werecat, #2)
I gave up on this a quarter of the way through, mainly because the writing was so amteurish. I had the feeling it was written by an adolescent youth who'd had no training in writing novels. Lots of telling, boring dialogue, shallow characterisation, etc.
Why anyone would give it 4 or 5 stars defeats me.

Perry is starting Frostforge: Passage One (Book One of the Frostforge Series)
While a solid and engaging read, it does have a flaw that irritated me considerably: the highly repetitive use of 'practiced'. For example, it was used to qualify 'ease', 'efficiency', 'strokes', 'precision', 'movements', 'eye', with some of these, such as 'ease', occurring numerous times.

While a solid and engaging story, it has one fault that continued to disturb me: the highly repetitive use of 'practiced'. it was applied to 'ease', 'efficiency', 'stealth', 'precision', 'steps', and more, multiple times.

Perry is starting Moonlight and Storm (Australian Supernatural: High Country #1)
Should have started at the end of Ch 2; the beginning was just scene setting.

Perry is on page 838 of 850 of Unity 6 Game Development with C# Scripting: Leverage C# scripting in Unity to create immersive games and VR experiences
The Unity 6 features for which I bought the book are covered in 26 pages as an addendum out of 462. The earlier chapters discuss material covered in many other Unity books, of which I have a few. I shall return it for a refund. I'm very disappointed.

Perry is starting The Dark Amulet Collection: The Complete Series
Needs a good proofreader. 2nd book better than 1st. 3rd has slow start.

Perry is starting The Woodville Women: 100 Years of Plantagenet and Tudor History
The first chapter was a bit wearing. I'm putting it on hold for the time being.

Perry is starting A Heart in the Hills (The Book of Roses #2)
It's not often I become so immersed in a book that it affects my moods, especially towards the end of this volume, when it becomes disturbingly dramatic. This is masterful storytelling.
On to Volume 3 now for the climax of this saga.

Perry is starting Jundi
"She could have cared less that her mother could no longer afford a full retinue of servants."

Henderson, Ella Walker. Jundi (p. 15).Kindle Edition.

Outside of America that would have been written "couldn't have cared less", which is much more logical.

Perry is finished with Once We Were Here
"Bang bang bang bang", "blam blam",... I thought I was reading a comic.

I tried to finish it, but gave up.
