I think I’m going to DNF for now. I really anticipated this book and it’s not giving what I need it to give. This is another story of a blk FMC that is being delusional while she chases behind a yt MMC that is constantly humiliating and disregarding. I really wanted the FMC to have better standards for herself and for the MMC to fight to meet them.

Not good. I’m close to DNF’ing. I am way over Casteel ATP. I hope there is a purpose to all of this cause I’m annoyed.

It started off interesting enough but it has been loosing me with all of the plot holes. I knew this was an academia/trials trope but the how and why she is going to school with vampires is just stupid. So the story goes from an enemies to lovers to a bully trope and I’m not a fan. I’m going to pause it and come back to it later.

So far I want to like it but it is boring me to tears…

Ohhhhhh It’s pretty bad. I want to quit but there is only 25% left…

It’s loosing me. So far the story isn’t living up to the synopsis. The MMC isn’t morally grey. He’s just sad. Everyone in this prison the equivalent of heaven is good. The FMC is making out great. She has bill-free accommodations in a palace, a seamstress, a paying job, and freedom. I’m dont understand the punishment. A lot of empty threats from the MMC. Its pointless. The book isn’t giving Dark fantasy

So far not good… I’m struggling to not DNF.
