"Every time you hurt me, I think, 'This has to be the cruelest...'" Damn, I can feel Ian's pain. It's heartbreaking. The worst part is — at least I can glimpse why Alek is the way he is. His father murdering his favorite person was devastating. But poor Ian doesn't have a clue... Sometimes one has to own their pain and move on, but I'm really rooting for them.

ngl so far I'm thoroughly enjoying the book's writing style. There's a richness and depth to the language that's captivating. The themes resonate as well, particularly the exploration of rejection and the possibility of second chances. Ugh... the narrative is just so engaging, it evokes a mix of emotions that keeps me invested in the MCs' journeys.

Well... This book became draggy around the 30% mark, which is a shame since I liked the concept. I still like how sweet and caveman Selas is (erroy is nice enough ig?), so I'll probably keep reading this a bit at a time

This book has probably the least erotic sex scenes ever. Which says a lot, considering I don't really read my books for the spice. Also, the plot is boring af, the character like depth. What saves this book is the fast pacing thank God.
