Interesting so far!

Okay, let’s try TOG again, this time in audio. The reader’s voice is very soothing. Hopefully I can take this out of my DNF pile.

I was going to stay away from Alchemised because it’s actual not romantasy as many said originally but I keep thinking about it so maybe that’s my sign to read it this Summer

The redemption arc for Sam was a fail, he’s waaay too unlikeable

Hailey is getting annoying with how she allows her husband to manipulate her. Almost unreadable

The formatting of this book is terrible on Kindle, I don’t know if the physical copy looks like this. There’s way too many spaces between sentences and paragraphs. There’s scenes changing and it’s formatted so horribly that I didn’t even know scenes changed. We went from the main character having sex with a man in the bathroom to a wedding to a private dinner and no indication that days have passed.

This is confusing me so far. First, in prior books, Sadie just loved the guys and wanted to be with them forever. Then, suddenly in this book she doesn’t want to be in a pack with them and now saying she doesn’t want a romantic union with them. I can’t lie, she’s really annoying so far in this book. It’s like she’s going back on everything she wanted in the first two installments.

Audio book version. This has been utterly boring but a good high point was the part where Laura was hiding in the pantry to keep from answering the door. A number of people knocked on the door during that time and I got a decent laugh out of the exchanges. Otherwise, so far it’s a bit boring.
