Hmm I don't think this book does a good job of being a standalone...and this is coming from someone who's read almost all the books in the series

I'm not sure how I feel about where the plot is going...

They have incredible chemistry but lowkey they are both so problematic lol

Don't get me wrong, I like Andrea but two days into a brand new job--a job you moved far away for and desperately need--and you're talking back to your boss?? Even though I agree with what she's saying, it's wild for her to say it...first day on the job lol

Honestly I admire Paige’s strength but if Warden weren’t the hero, she would’ve died like 2 chapters after she entered this new place. That level of recklessness she has makes her stupid. Brave but stupid won’t get you far if you don’t start changing…

This is the first time in a while that I started reading a book and become so obsessed with it that *hours* literally passed by and I’m honestly tempted to pull an all-nighter to finish 💖

Idk why I fooled myself into thinking it wouldn’t bother me that this is a widow and single father hero, that’s basically a double whammy of heroes I avoid in romance 😭

This book is so addictive I can already tell it’s going to be a fave ✨

You don't understand...I'm obsessed!

The pacing just feels off for me, the way they're acting towards each other after like a week of being strangers who are "forced" to live together is just weird to me...I just don't feel connected to them and I lowkey want to DNF... :/

Sutton is such a freaking walking disaster the second-hand embarrassment is lowkey making it so hard for me to like her sometimes like girl...please stop talking 😬

I am really loving this book!

No matter how many times I come back to this book, I'll enjoy it for a few chapters and then get bored and put it down for 3+ months...might need to admit defeat and dnf :/
