Well... I don't know whether this is Cooper and Shawn's story anymore. I've never been into love triangles and am not fond of third wheels derailing the romance.

It's going slow. As expectations are low at this point there's no eagerness to continue so I have to push myself.

This really isn't for me. The last thing I want in a romance is to witness the protagonists with other people. I'm afraid this made me wary of Alexis Hall's books. I will never start reading a series before it is complete, even if it takes 5 years for the last book to come out.

This is such bullshit!!! I don't know which character I'm most angry at. Sanctimonious and petty Nathaniel? Suddenly spineless Arden? Oblivious Caspian?

This book is turning from a disappointment to annoyance. This is unnecessarily cruel and ruining the unexpected romance of the second book and sweetness that was Caspian.

I was sooo looking forward to this book (and no I hadn't read the preview chapters as I listened to the first two books rather than reading) but I'm not sure I want to continue. This is such a let down...

This is lot worse than I expected. Now it's poor Dare's fault that Noah's dad died. No. Just no. If this is the story let this romance die. It doesn't need to be resurrected. I don't need to see these two people together. Dare deserves better.

Unfortunately this is going very predictably and in a way that wouldn't satisfy me. I'm sure whatever happened to Noah's dad is the reason he hasn't followed him. Wouldn't appease my anger. I don't believe in a love like that.

Maybe because the past was told from Dare's point of view, maybe because Dare was the character we knew, but I don't have much sympathy for Noah yet. Especially when we heard that the future was a recurring argument between them, he never wanted to talk about it and never gave a good reason to Dare I can't believe he dares to blame Dare for the breakup because he left in the middle of the night.

There we have it. His excuse is "he’d been young and stupid, so he’d done the only thing he’d known to do. He’d laughed off the idea of a happily ever after, effectively sending the only man he’d ever found himself in love with running for the hills." That's it????

I hate separations and reunited lovers stories. As far as I'm concerned there's never a good excuse for it, but I hate to skip a book in a series so here I am. But it will be very difficult to sell this to me.

Oh Max, what have you done? My heart aches for you. Coming out is such a personal thing, one shouldn't be forced to it. If you don't want to live with someone in the closet that's your choice but people have to do things in their own time.

I have been curious about Max and Sean since Upending Tad but their story was left hanging at such a turning point that realizing it is going to backtrack alll the way to the beginning made me postpone starting this. It rewinds back further than I expected and goes on and on... I was curious about the reasons behind Max's attitude but telling the story chronologically isn't working for me. Where is Sean?
