3.5⭐️ - probably rounding down; well written, very readable - finished it within like 24hrs? But 2 reasons why I can’t rate it higher:
1. The FMC and most other characters actually are pretty immature in the beginning despite being late 30s
2. I don’t think the mmc grovelled enough 😒

Great start, makes me want to be an astronaut 🚀

Finally learn the big transgression that broke them up as teenagers and I hate the mmc so much I don’t want her to forgive him wtf

Damn was excited for this angsty plot but the writing is so bad and choppy 😭

It’s fine but the plot really starts to drag in the second half. Too much time spent on the spice/heat rather than the renovation and their connection outside of the spice

Cute Christmas story for the most part. Libby’s constant excuses to delay the talk with her ex were frustrating and detract from the main romantic storyline

So much crying for that ending 😭 but the beginning was a bit slow for me so brings it down to 4⭐️

Enjoyed the writing/prose; not much “action” but the author did a great job of building up gloom

I think I found a new favorite author?!
4.5⭐️ - rounding down; although it’s satire a couple of the resolutions in the last few chapters went too far into happy fantasyland lol

2nd book from this author, another great start 👏🏽

All the spontaneous Shakespeare lines in their day-to-day life are not for me lol

The premise pissed me off, who in their right mind would agree to this farce?? Third person pov makes it hard to connect to any of these characters too so this is probably 2.25⭐️
