The amount Sally cries at everything seems very OOC for her. 2 stars for this alone. Girl was muxh stronger than this. Everyone has their week moments and there's nothing wrong with that, but holy shit, dude.

I'm disappointed in this. Clearly Fitz understands nothing about being a werewolf and there has been no teaching him. I'm getting tired of the constant cycle a trying to kill, fuck it out, then feeling bad and understanding dude knows nothing.

Not enjoying this book much. I find the romance very cringey and lacking. I hope she ends up with no one. I want to see more of her training as a Dragoneye.
I also find myself distrustful of Ido and Kygo. Ido is probably the most interesting character of the bunch. The triangle is really bringing the book down, though. It's lacking, uninteresting, and problematic considering Ido did try to rape her. Not into that...

Ellery is so melodramatic. You're still a child. "Everything reminds me if him" pleeeaaase give me a break.

Although it happened differently than I thought, I FUCKING CALLED IT!

Actually love the fact that Blair rejected Richard buying him dinner.

If Altan and Ahn live each other, then why is Altan still like "I could kill her grandmother" this late in the story when he's rescuing her from the prison. The characters just don't seem consistent.

Ahn and Altan's relationship feels so superficial. They have no chemistry even though the book is trying to force it. Disappointing.

Start was strong. Not feeling Ahn's and Altan's first interaction. Ahn is kind of disappointing now. I'd like to get more action from her. She started off as this bad ass and feels like a shell of that.
Altan is fine. I don't feel anything in particular for him. I wonder if it's because I feel disconnected from Ahn now that she left the village.
Side characters are really enjoyable. They drive the story way more.

Started it on the plane ride home, and I can't put it down. A timeliness of events would help, though. I didn't mean this negatively at all, but there's so much that happens that you really need to pay attention. I love it since it keeps me super engaged.

Yall gotta stop this shit. As someone who deals with type 1 diabetes for multiple years, it's not fucking funny, and this just perpetuates false information regarding diabetes. Shit is a nightmare to deal with, and this kid if stuff is ignorant BS.

Honestly, it's just so fun and quite cute. Silas and Dean are so freaking cute. Wish I hadn't read it before book 2 on accident but it is what it is.

So juch telling of how smart Mariko is and not much showing. I don't find her to be that intelligent, not that she's stupid either. She just doesn't do anything particularly amazing.
It's at least gotten a little better. Not as unbearable as the start was.

Ok. Not a fan of Daniel wanting to fuck without lube or foreplay.

I'm struggling through this. I thought it would be much more interesting, but there's waaay too much description in here and not enough action. I keep waiting for something to happen only to get more description. Even the action scenes have tons of unneeded descriptions. This leads to scenes that could be a couple paragraphs, maybe even a page or so, into multiple pages of just nothing. It takes you out of the scene.
