I’m trying to understand it, but I have no idea what’s going on in this book

“Jebat” as a swear word (I suppose she meant “fuck”) wouldn’t be the first choice honestly………

I hate when authors can’t even do a proper research on the language they use for their characters, I don’t speak Slovak, but some rules are similar to Polish……
My girl/woman etc. (or “mine” when you talk about a feminine nouns) can’t be translated as “môj”, môj is for masculine nouns

girl please it’s the Tatra Mountains not the Tetra Mountains 😭😭😭

obsessed with all three of them 🥹🥹🥹

“I know you do. But if you had such concerns, why did you not simply . . . talk to me?” His eyes shift to Asher, and he folds his arms again. A hint of that contempt returns to his voice. “Rather than sending your Hunter after me.”
“When would you have listened?” I demand.
“Whenever you asked me to.”

my babies 🥹🥰🥰

Seriously?? Nowak and Kowalska? Brynne ily but you couldn’t have picked up more generic polish surnames 🙄

WTF I didn’t expect any Poland mentions here??????

got the ARC from Gretchen, I’m gonna give it a go 👀

oh r.f. kuang, how much I love your writing

ouch 😭😭

“I can't stop thinking of you. Even when I want to. Even when I try to distract myself, I just— I can't stop. You are there, constantly. Every time I close my eyes. Every time I turn my head. I see you in every room. Every shadow, every corner, every almost and maybe. In every fucking thing. You said you didn't use your magic, but that’s what it feels like, Darcy. It feels like you sliced right into me."

I’m loving this so fucking much

I’m actually here for Rhys and Nesta’s friendship

“Lucien flipped onto his side, gritting his teeth. Would it be a violation of her if he took care of himself? He’d never let himself do so when thinking of her, but this had been the longest stretch in his existence without sex—without any sort of physical contact.”

I’ll have you, Lucien, don’t mind Elain

was this the Sleeping Beauty retelling kind of???? I mean the ceremony

lmao Azriel is such a man child, and it’s actually ridiculous that he’s offended by the Truth-Teller and doesn’t use it anymore HAHAHAHAHAHAH

also I’m happy Eris told Cassian THAT THING, it’s time to stop being stupid Cassian!!!!!!!!!

can Azriel stop gushing over Mor for at least a second

oh my poor Nesta 😭 she deserves the world

"Do you ever stop talking?"
"Only if you put something in my mouth," I say. "I'm partial to food, but dicks work too."
He glances heavenward.

Lmao

I should have figured there was a reason all the ladies couldn't stop staring at him when he walked into the bar. There's something magnetic about the
rough-around-the-edges charm, and if any of them have experienced what that mouth is capable of, I can't blame them one bit.

excuse me what the actual fuck is that
*Alexa insert chrissy teigen awkward face meme gif here*

not an unexpected ass play……………

No soft skin on display, no enticing dark hair to imagine burying my nose in and-
Blast it all, Xennet! A woman's pubic hair is no place for your nose!
[…] And if a man was licking a human woman's clitocopter, where else would his nose go but in that hair? Maybe there was a specific way to hold your head so that such a thing did not happen. But I could not imagine what that position might be.

LMAOOO

I think I’m gonna cry if he’s a playboy 😭 I hope it’s just what media talk and not the truth bye

Can’t count how many times have I rated a book by accident since the new update….
(Yes I’m marking this as currently reading for the second time)

ch1 and I’m extremely confused

WTF is going on
