This book is going to be a BIG commitment. I’ve wanted to read it for so long but was deterred by length of it lol. Then, I read Alchemised last year and realized that I can totally read this book.

So tired. Is this over yet

I am enjoying this so far, but can’t buy into the fact that an ESSAY got her into this prestigious school, and that she’s supposed to be so intelligent and a sophomore when at the start, she told us she was only taking a few classes at a time.

I really do love Julie Olivia's romances.

-this book is well written!
-the style of writing is cold and distant. I don’t feel like I know any of the characters super well.

I’ve heard good things, but this is a sloooow start.

I cannot stand homegirl. Her issue is that she is seen as too "sweet" and "naive" but proceeds to hesitate when saying the word, "sex" and says "h-e-double hockey sticks." Like, girl, you are not doing yourself any favors.

I feel like the author is infantilizing Annie

4 pages in and I’m already giggling quietly so I don’t wake up my husband!! As a someone who also can’t swim, I think this is going to be a fun read.
