Good lawd, all I was thinking as this story started was, "bihhhh, are you blind?" Then her trying to reason her ex's behaviors 🤦🏾‍♀️.

Lawd, this book has me in a chokehold because it's one of those books that show the true deviousness of some people. We're mainly in the head of the pedophile killer and the two people who are mainly the victims of Judge Wagners' vengeance. The author does a good job of making you wonder about Catherine, but so far I feel like she's a woman who was traumatized as a child and never got helped and wasn't supported

So far, what agitates me is that the author could've combined some of these sentences and also some word choices that are either incorrect or just not right. For example, if a woman you're attracted to is all you dream about, you shouldn't say she contaminated your dreams because that verbiage is very negative. There are better, more complimentary words that could've been used.

I'm wondering what the problem is between Vanessa and her family, and also, her sister is bogus for guilting her sister into this ruse. Jason is the worse person to have done this on because he has trust issues, and he likes her prickly persona

I don't understand the point of him spanking her if it wasn't leading to something more. I hope this isn't another book that has me confused with it's direction.

I don't know how I'm feeling about this book. It's been a minute since I read the first one, and something just seems so chaotic. Maybe it's because I don't really remember book one. What I'm not liking is how Vasilli is continually trying to hide stuff from his wife instead of letting her know about what's going on with his father.

I can't believe she's kissing this man knowing he has a fiancée and a side chick, especially after what her ex did to her. I hope this author gets this shit together, and Destiny don't become no hypocrite

For me this series doesn’t really pull me in until the tension racks up

I think I've read this author before, and I must say her wordiness is really throwing me off. I feel like she's using big words needlessly

I really feel like Mayer sticks to a blueprint with some of these books she puts together. Leading lady with some unknown powers or destiny. Hated by her family/mother/stepmother/aunt with overly complicated love interest that you wonder if you even like sometimes.

About halfway through this book, and I can say I'm honestly not really feeling it. This may become a dnf.

I don't know if I'm gonna finish this book because Molly mainly raping Kevin because that's what that was, and her and these erratic things she does just screams problems that need some kind of therapist. Also, after reading reviews that said Molly let her family crap all over Kevin when the whole situation is her fault is a turn-off. I read this book when I was younger, but I'm kind of not feeling it

I don’t really know how I feel about this book. So far there’s no character I’m really feeling and Rich’s interaction with the Romani came about because of her partner, but she’s the one they go after. Also, her resurrection from the dead was met with no fanfare

I could’ve sworn this book was just about over until I saw I hadn’t even hit the halfway mark. I read this before years ago because I think it’s connected to the Eve Duncan series but I seriously think I won’t be finishing it because it’s just not doing it for me.

I’m on chapter 9 and I’m really starting to think that Doreen is remedial. I get that her ex husband was controlling but she just seems to have nonsensical notions of how the world runs

I'm trying to determine if I'm gonna keep reading this book because in the reviews people are saying how great it is but I'm on chapter 11 and am still trying to figure out how she's such a killer when it seems she's only murdered one person. I guess I feel the way the lead character describes herself isn't evident in the way she acts

I've had to take breaks because this narrator irritates me with the way she ends sentences and she kind of drags the end of the last word. Also, I think I need a murder mystery because all this waxing poet and flowery descriptions of things is irritating me.

Enjoying the book so far, but the female narrator gives a horrible Louisiana accent, she sounds more carribbean than southern. The male narrator has a way better accent

So far I’m liking where this book is headed. A strong female lead and I’m understanding and not at all bothered by the other POV’s because I feel they give the story further depth

Rereading since a new book was just released!

At this point I like Vassili way more than Zariah. Also, the need to continually remind the reader of how thick she is and her innocence 🙄.

I never thought I'd say thing about a Nalini Singh novel, but I am struggling through this one.

So far I must say it's a pretty good listen and I'm really curious about who the murderer is.

I’ve never read a book with an unreliable narrator but it can really throw you around. Also, he loves calling himself a psychopath and a sociopath. I’ve been thrown for a loop a couple times

I don’t understand this idea of let’s stop searching for the killer because they keep doing all this killing. The civilians and the police keep thinking this crap

I think I know the family that’s involved in the crime and I’m so frustrated that some characters aren’t being very discerning. Hate keeps saying how she can keep a blank face and secrets but she keeps letting stuff slip to the guy who I think is guilty

As I listen to this book I’ve realized that I can’t pay attention to reviews because they tend to influence. Yes, the mention of Kate and her obsessive calorie counting is annoying but Sara does the same since they both tend toward the plump side

I’m really hoping that the sex scenes won’t be plentiful. I’m here for the ass kicking!

I’m really starting not to like these characters especially Violet. I really came to that conclusion after she gave flimsy reasons in her mind how her and Doc are technically dating to reason why her bestie shouldn’t be mooning over him. This story shows how dick can ruin a friendship because these hornbag heifas are so hot in the pants. I’m also tired of mysterious Doc and his sniffing
