Ok I definitely reccomned the audiobook so far. I'm not always that fond of thrillers, but currently the whole cat and mouse arc of this story has me paying a lot of attention.

Wait. pause. WAIT. You mean to tell me *insert spoiler*????? Girl gtfo of there ASAP. Do your research when your out of the building.

Sidenote: but this is a relatively gorey story. I'm talking somehwat descriptive depiction of deaths and mutilation. It's not too much for me but I didn't expect it.

Yeah, this is definitely horror. Though it's quite fun despite the gore.

The story flows so well but part of me wonders what the point is.

Kind of in awe at how unhinged she is. I'm kind of sitting here like "you know she's dead right?"

This is cute. Haven't read the book, but it translates pretty well to being a graphic novel

Thérèse kind of make me think of that opening song from Beauty and the Beast. She is begging for something fulfilling in her life 😭

This is the ideal audiobook ngl. It's so easy to listen to while doing the laundry, cleaning etc.

Also some of the humor is kind of hit or miss. Some parts make me chuckle and some feel dated. But it's not too distracting.

Ava's situation is so panic inducing that I'm looking up hiking survival tools even though I hate the woods and would never go on a hike. And Savannah's mental state is kind of exhausting. I know it's on purpose, but goodness the mind of something this mentally ill is kind of bewildering sometimes. I love the writing though

Yea, this has just solidified that I will never go hiking. And if I do, a Garmin inReach will be on me at all times 😭

I think this will be my first foray into weird girl fiction, so I'm curious how it'll go. The synopsis sounds right up my alley so let's hope it's good!

This read distinctly like a horror movie. I do appreciate a popcorn horror book (since there's no visual jumpscares) so it's a nice break in between everything else I've read this month
