"I think one thing this book does really well is capture the experience of being fat and the hypocrisy around weight loss when you're larger. Losing weight is fine, but only if it's done the way society deems acceptable, and if you have help, it doesn't count. At the same time, it also captures the issue with lying about how you lost weight as a public figure. And Emmet is still a horrible person throughout this." — 12 hours, 13 min ago
