I’ve missed indulging in the small town of Shady Palms. This book series will always have a special place in my heart since I discovered the Tita Rosie’s Kitchen Mystery series while I was in A school back in Chicago. The fact that I’ve brought Lila, Longganisa, and the rest of her friends and family with me while I travel the world is always a comfort to me.

This is my GQ or watchstander read. Mental toughness is a technique that Navy SEALS use in BUD/S training. It’s now utilized and taught in boot camp. This is the technique we use to defy the odds. Remind ourselves to push past our mental limits and reach our goals. Chief Goggins come up is fascinating, and I can’t wait to read more and learn more from him.

The first chapter is so hilarious. Rosie is a cute, clumsy, yet witty woman.
