Not only does Zephryn need to earn that from me for being besties with my brother, I think he likes the tease. He’s always been playful with me, but there’s something more between since I came back. Final edits are happening, and this book is getting so beautiful - you know, for a perfectly emotional smut book.

This book is done, babes and I can't even express how much fun I've had writing the epilogue because we are revisiting Simona Island!!

Jolene: And at the moment, he wants to torture me by fingering me under the slight edge of a towel. We’re under an umbrella, and this island resort is relatively secluded, but there are still people out here enjoying this gorgeous Caribbean day on the beach.

“You would never have been ready.” He glances at me and gives a slight, apologetic shrug. “They broke you, brother. You need an arrow like Jin to pierce into our kingdom, so you’ll snap back together again. It’s been too long.”

It’s hard to think about taking her to the airport in a few hours. I don’t want to. I hate saying goodbye to her every damn time and no matter how many times we do it, it never becomes easier. If anything, it’s more difficult now that she’s so close to being done with college.

I’m not sure what the future will bring, but if she’s in my everyday life, everything will be good.

It’s hard to think about taking her to the airport in a few hours. I don’t want to. I hate saying goodbye to her every damn time and no matter how many times we do it, it never becomes easier. If anything, it’s more difficult now that she’s so close to being done with college.

We take the shot and I know from the moment it hits my tongue that Arlo was right. Dammit. I try to hold in the cringe at the bitter assault. If sweaty socks and a year-old grapefruit peel that fell under the fridge had a lovechild, it would be this liquor.
“Wow,” I say when I can breathe. “That’s something.”
Darius cackles as he coughs. “That’s southern for gross.”

I gasp and flail off him, sending dust and tufts of brown fur floating about. When I hit a wall, I crouch, trying to hide behind my hair. “How dare you.”

“Oh, it wasn’t me, my flower.” His eyes trail over me in the dim light of... wherever we are. “You mumbled something about being wet and then you stripped.” He bites his lip with a—yeah, that’s a fang. “You called my name and crawled to me.”

Love love love love so much love. Morgan is a talented hot mess and I'm here for it, and Brody is the fun and rational antidote she needs!
