Oh my. Even people who do terrible things occasionally say something wise. What a collection this is. So glad it is a small book.

Terry is on page 182 of 356 of Murder Must Advertise (Lord Peter Wimsey, #10)
There’s a lot of slang used so it isn’t always an easy read. Otherwise it’s a good story.

What a great story! Memorable characters, adventure, terror and reunion. It was everything the hype promised! Kudos to Percival Everett on a well told tale.

Couldn’t finish. I kept getting lost in the enormous cast of characters. I liked the book but I am just not invested enough to plod through.

This isn’t the type of book I typically read, but was a good palate cleanser. Very sweet story.

Terry is reading Life on the Color Line: The True Story of a White Boy Who Discovered He Was Black
What a story! Another tale of man’s inhumanity to man and the occasional person who succeeds in spite of very long odds.

It’s rare to finish a book with a satisfied sigh. Min Jin Lee created a cast of characters who were complex and interesting. They seemed fully human to me. I really enjoyed this story.

Oh my. It has been years since I read a book that moved me in this way. I have read other books by Kristin Hannah and enjoyed them. But this is a whole different experience. This is an important story that needed to be told. Thank you KH.

Terry is on page 120 of 325 of Daniel Applegate: A Novel of the American Revolution, Based on a true story
This was written by a cousin who I met for the first time
last summer. We met a a family reunion of descendants of Daniel’s youngest child, Jesse Applegate.

I found this to be a pleasant read, engagingly written with characters that were mostly very likeable.

Kudos to Terry Applegate for undertaking this story of our fourth great grandfather. I recommend this to anyone interested in this time period.
