Revenge is a dish best served COLD. This is soooo good!

It took me a while to get into the book. But when it hooked me, I was hooked. I didn’t know what to expect for the ending. This was a sweet love story. I really enjoyed the magical realism and the journey altogether. I highly recommend.

This book is wild, already. May Monroe has done this to me every time. Joan- the lies! Lola- drop the zero and get you a hero. Calvin-NO!! I have a feeling I’m going to eat this book up.

This has been such a slow read for me. I’m going to lock in and finish this!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I felt connected to the characters. I was rooting for Roy to reclaim his life, and felt bad for Celestial to have gone through what she did. I am now a Tayari Jones fan!

I’m loving this book. I find myself disliking some of Roy’s comments and feelings. I’m eating it up. Can’t wait to see if Roy is able to reclaim his old life.
