This might be one of the most beautiful prose I have ever read. The story makes me feel despair and anger.

Mostly despair and I hate Lord Henry so much.

I like the lore of how the martial arts was introduced in combat. I like Rin's fire!

I wanted to read something about the reality of war. I have never found wars to be something of glory. This book agrees so far.

I initially had rated this book 2 stars. I usually rate bad books that. This book stayed with me all these years, I wondered why. Esther's feminism, ambition and view of life and society is relatable to me even now that I am a grown up. I was afraid that I would grow up to be Esther. This book made me sad that I could relate to it.
Now that I have depression and have turned into Esther, I adore the dark humour.

ভালোই। সিধুর character design টা এতো সুন্দর!

প্রথম গল্পটা পড়লাম 'অন্য কোনখানে'। গায়ে কাঁটা দিয়ে উঠল। চমৎকার অংকন এবং গল্প। হায়রে! আবার কখনও প্রথমবার এটা পড়া হবে না।

I still do not like the book, compared to the other two this has been dull. Might leave it in a pile.

Ok, so far into the story, two murders have taken place and we have an unreliable narrator.
I hate how the writing style just drags on. Instead of the mystery evolving deeper, it bores me waay too much.

I am completely adoring this book. The 'suicide squad' like story only a few folds better. I really wish they made a movie or an anime out of this. The visuals of ice court would be grand. I know the most popular character of the book is Kaz and I so wish they could grasp his mystery and attraction in the way he truly is.
(Not pick a tradionally good looking actor for 'Darkling' like in the netflix series)
