I don't know is this is just influence of book 1 feeling so much like City of Bones, but this is still giving me early 2010s vibes.
The prince plotline is making me remember the Simon / Jace plotlines and I can't explain why bc they are nothing alike BUT ITS SCRACHING AN ITCH
And the ...Lethe? plotline is making me feel like when I was reading City of Glass and we were getting to know the Morgenstern brother

It might not look like it, but I'm about 55% into this.
About ⅓ of this book is bibliography and omg do I enjoy reading the bibliography. I mean it. I have a lot of stuff I wanna read now. Thanks.
