Re-read in preparation of Violent Triumphs. Listening to audiobook.

well, at least the action scenes are helping me not be bored. i dont know where exactly this is going and i don't know if i yet care but here we are. 3rd person limited POV is really tough for me to get into..i don't know why. some reviews say to let it cook. we'll see...

I'm already so anxious for these ladies..though I really wanna punch Rose in the face sometimes.

I still don't remember who anyone is, but I'm still kinda enjoying the ride. The audiobook narrators are fantastic! Was hoping to have this done within the month of November but that's just not likely anymore. Still got about 397 pages left. I don't know if I'm liking this as a multi pov. As soon as I'm invested in it, it ends and moves to another..sigh..oh well. Will definitely have this done before December ends.

Could have had it done by today but brain didn't want to focus and now it's a bit too tired to finish the last 100 sprint. I'm loving it and legitimately did an air first at the end of chapter 21. I will have it done tomorrow.

I'm slowly getting invested. I'm curious how this is all going to play out. It's very intricate indeed, lot's to keep track of.

Really kind of having a tough time following. It almost feels like theyre having two different conversations at once. at least for the "Batteries Not Included" chapter. Hoping I'll catch on and enjoy more soon.

Still loving this, I low key wish I had waited to use this for the reading challenge I'm in so I can actually focus on it, but alas I didn't know when or if the opportunity would arise until now. Hopefully soon I can continue on reading it.

reading this on my kobo but the page count is extremely off. that was an intense first chapter though.

Alright this has me. I'm still a touch confused, but it has me. I imagine i'm gonna be very sad by the end of it.

this can easily become my top 5 of the year and has solidified my love for gothic fantasy.

I'm loving this so far. It's a lot of people with similar names to keep track of, but I'm digging it. Especially the magic system. I'm super into it. Also, Anton's susness is a red herring, right? The "mad priest" can't really be the thing, is it?

Slow going, but I'm loving it! Not surprising giving who the author is. Also, it's low key making me want to reread Dracula. I aim to have this completed within the next day or so, at least before Friday.

Idk if I'm truly following the story here, but I thought it fitting as the premise seemed a bit relevant to current times in this country. I kinda knew this was gonna make me think, but I didn't know to this extent. Similarly to Solomon's The Deep, this book is definitely not one I can really bust out in a day. I just hope the messaging actually sinks in for me.

Pretty sure this is gonna be an eyeball read even though I have the audiobook. I dont remember a single thing from the OG trilogy and there's a lot going on already that I need to focus. Plus Darrow's narrator kinda lulls me to sleep(in a good way).

This is really really good. Im very intrigued. One of the characters has my name though--even spelled the same which is a bit weird. But im still enjoying it.

Gotta set this down for now so I can go to work, but I am sooo invested. Might possibly be a 5 star, it's been so long, have I been missing out on thrillers this whole time?? It's terribly cliche, yet...I want to smack every single one of them. Also yes, I'm convinced that Poppy is not actually Poppy.
