I made a good faith effort to get it all done today but I sadly got myself a caffeine migrane and was down for several hours. Now I have maybe 50-ish pages till the end. Hopefully I can get it done during my breaks tomorrow before the discussion.

I'm still intrigued. This is definitely a...slow burn high fantasy.. but I feel it's going to be worth it. I am enjoying it, but there's a lot going on. I hope Elend ends up being a good guy and doesn't die...But I fear that may not be the case.

I'm interesed. Not quite in love yet, but I'm interested. Though, if anything happens to Sazed, I will RIOT.

I'll be straight with y'all. The only reason I haven't dnf'd this is because I'd feel immense guilt. I was so excited to read a romantasy with all Black leads which is extremely rare, but folks.. I am not having a good time. Probably going to be 1.75 stars from me. I think after I finish this, I'm officially going to call it quits with fae centered romances.

I really want to care more. I really really do. It's been 10 chapters and I just don't really feel anything. Yeah, the sex is nice...but it can only do so much. Maybe I'm just not a fae fiction reader. Who the heck knows. I'm going to keep persevering until ch.21/40 to a make a decision on it. I don't want to DNF (as it feels wrong to) but I will if my enjoyment does not increase.

Still enjoying it but I'm struggling a tad to wrap my head around the contradictions. Nothing will beat that Adrian Gage encounter though..just saying. Kinda wishing the story focused on him.. though the whole how do you fight and win a war without knowing anything about it or else face destruction is an interesting debaucle.

I wonder if there is an official wiki on Gage and subsequent stories on him...

I'll be honest, I have no idea what's going on.. it's not as accessible to me as Charlotte's book was, but I will persevere.

Just read the first two chapters and I am SAT! That entire scene with Gage was terrifying, I have no idea what I would do if I encountered that Unknown. I'm tempted to get my own copy, idk yet. Think I'll finish it tomorrow, definitely a quick engaging read.

Solid start, wasn't expecting the immediate fucking but I suppose the premise did say there was gonna be a ONS. I really hope I love this one as I've been dying for a Black fantasy romance. I'd like to be seen.

Finally trying this again. I was supposed to read it years ago in my brit lit class and failed to do so. Looking forward to knowing the full story. But boy..talk about miscommunication issues..

well, at least the action scenes are helping me not be bored. i dont know where exactly this is going and i don't know if i yet care but here we are. 3rd person limited POV is really tough for me to get into..i don't know why. some reviews say to let it cook. we'll see...

I still don't remember who anyone is, but I'm still kinda enjoying the ride. The audiobook narrators are fantastic! Was hoping to have this done within the month of November but that's just not likely anymore. Still got about 397 pages left. I don't know if I'm liking this as a multi pov. As soon as I'm invested in it, it ends and moves to another..sigh..oh well. Will definitely have this done before December ends.
