Ngl, this is really slow going.. and I swear if I hear the word "disconcerted" one more time... sigh. I shall hold out hope that this gets better. Although I did note a funny.. idk.. Twilight moment. Not sure if it was intentional or not, but it made me think of it. Particularly the scene when Bella gets introduced to the Cullens during a meal period and Eddie boi is just staring at her. You know..?

I'm not hating it as much now that I'm reading it with my eyes and the plot has actually started moving. That first half draaaaaaaagged. Also..why does every romantasy have to have mindspeak now? I've seen some reviews that mention Rorrik as a potential love interest and I honestly don't see it.. unless it's a turn on a bully romance..which I don't like either. Both brothers suck honestly. No pun intended.
