Why I love stories that span multiple books:
I love that I can dig in further to the world building and the stakes surrounding them. There is so much happening in a romantic suspense and when you add in a fantasy element, there is even more that needs to be shared, so it gives me the opportunity to really dive into each aspect of the story and show more character development as well!

Favorite things about these characters:
For Kane, I love his flirtiness and protectiveness. He has been through so much, but still finds a way to have fun in the middle of it. And the way he loves? Protects? It makes me absolutely swoon.
For Emery, it is her fierceness. She will do anything to ensure her niece is safe, but her facing the demons of her past and THRIVING because of it is so inspiring.
