Watching two people fall in love, but also grow in their strength together to fight for each other, feels so powerful. And, of course, I cannot resist a man who will do literally ANYTHING to ensure the ones he loves are safe.

For Kane, I love his flirtiness and protectiveness. He has been through so much, but still finds a way to have fun in the middle of it. And the way he loves? Protects? It makes me absolutely swoon.
For Emery, it is her fierceness. She will do anything to ensure her niece is safe, but her facing the demons of her past and THRIVING because of it is so inspiring.
