I can kind of see how the MMC treat the fmc because that’s all they know, but come on.—it’s getting too much. If she does not make it hard for them I’m going to be really annoyed

Writing is ok. Not deep, but not the worst
Dual style. Narration is just ok too—voices (especially the male) get on my nerves

It’s ok. I’m not dnf’ing this one yet. I don’t love the MFC, or actually most of the characters. The action is holding it together for me. The romance so far between the MFC and T is lack luster at best—she seems to forgive him for leaving her abruptly way too easily, then hates him again. But when they’re together they act like a couple. It doesn’t make sense. Also, jumping timelines gets confusing

The reason Xander lost his eyes was weird

I had to stop and pick up again already. I love a mean MMC, but 2 of her “mates” are either putting her through, or allowing such horrendous, humiliating things be done to her, I can’t really see a redemption. It’s really disturbing and at times too dark for me. The MFC keeps brushing everything off like it’s no big deal. I’m not sure how much I can take

The MFC is still annoying me. She finally loses it over a smashed mug. I still can’t get over the lack of modern amenities but they have a state of the art espresso machine and she is a practiced barista. The flow is weird too. Jumps ahead kind of suddenly

I sped up the narration to 150% it seems like the author through all the popular dragon tropes into a blender and wrote this story. The world building is shallow. We are told things, but I’m not getting drawn into the story so I can feel these things

Holding my interest enough not to Dnf it. Some things seem too modern— caramel macchiato. There’s a love,triangle right now. The romance is kind of lack luster. I don’t really care which way it goes

Also, accidentally walking into the men’s shower and then staying? It would have been an outrage if roles were reversed

I’m not crazy about the MFC. IMO she’s annoying. She does things that would be an issue if anyone else did them. Ie—she got annoyed when someone didn’t say “thank you” at her job, but she didn’t want to say “please” when it really called for it

I almost Dnf it. A lot of backstory just about the MFC, and I’m not crazy about the narrators and audio production. There’s a lot of weird pauses. She just got to the academy, and it got weirdly funny. I’m going to proceed

I actually really liked the boyfriend from the beginning of the book. I wonder how this is going to work

I was so looking forward to this. I am unfortunately not liking it as much as I thought I would. I’m not crazy about the MFC. Yes, she’s super bad ass, but I’m tired of hearing her complain about everything. If I was her wolf I wouldn’t talk to her either. I hope it turns around soon

I really like the premise. Martyr like MFC—which gets a little much. The word “orphanage” is used WAY too much. I don’t think I ever heard it this much before within my entire life combined. Narrator was dragging a bit. Kind of reminded me of a news broadcaster. Had to speed up to 1.5 just to make it a little,ore peppy

Easy listen so far. Writing reminds me of a fluffy contemporary in a fantasy form. Lots of modern language. Pretty predictable so far. Mfc is kind of bratty and annoying. She adores her brother that seems pretty useless and keeps getting in stupid trouble

I feel like the beginning of the book started off with a very “eloquent” and “deep” feel. As the book moved on, some of the dialogue seems so modern, it doesn’t feel like the same story

Definitely don’t care for the MFC much
It’s an insta lust fated mate much more than romance. I feel a strong disconnect between the relationship side of the plot and the action/suspense. She was “innocent” at the beginning of the book. It would make make sense if she had previous experience

MFC is kind of whiney. She is so strong at times, but vulnerable which is fine, but the complaining is annoying

Started off strong. Nice tension. h really caves WAY too easily to the crappy way the MMCs treat her. Once sex started around 50% it’s taking way too much of story line. I barely remember the plotline now and I am skimming a lot

It has potential. I can actually see it played out as a movie. I just don’t care for the MFC

Popular booktok book. I can see why some people love it. It does kind of have a Fourth Wing feel. I’m struggling. Narrator is very good. I don’t like the MFC. She is too full of herself most of the time, and whiny the other

DNF’ing. About 25% in. I can’t connect with characters at all. mFC is annoying to me. I don’t know if it’s the writing or the narration

Anther 10 minutes. DNFing. No. Just no. This writing style is not for me. Cheesy, but supposed to be serious. I just don’t care what happens to the MFC at this point

I’m about 45 minutes in and I don’t like the MFC. She spineless. Also, she comes across a mysterious castle, literally says “I don’t want to know who lives here, so I’m not going to knock”. Goes in and started calling for her “papa”. I don’t know how much more I’m going to listen. Narrators are good though.
