Happy with the ending, I have always felt that Asil needed someone in his life, especially after Sage's betrayal.

It is very simple no one can out rank the reigning monarch so the man she marries gets the title she bestows but that title cannot be King.

The second time Rapunzel referred to her future husband as the king I gave up.

The heroine is not quirky or fun she is just plain weird.

The chase through the market place was reminiscent of Zareck chasing detja in the Warlords comeuppance. I think Gail is trying to give us the books that her previous publishers are holding onto.

You know you are into a book when the h reckons she will fit into her clothes because her weight has not changed in the last 5 years and the word “bitch” immediately springs Into your mind.

I just couldn’t get into this story. I realise it was going the route of Master/slave but I need a level of knowledge and agreement before going full on.

Book is as good as all Jeanine Frost books are. Did see a line when Veritas was in Egypt saying that the paintings were faded with time. Having been in tombs on the West Bank of the Nile in Luxor there is no fading they look so bright they could have just been painted.

First thing I had to do was google WV. I now know the book takes place in West Virginia.

Good story but part way through one character flaunts over to the hammock. Really I can walk, stroll, run, stride or even dance over to an item but don’t see how I can use flaunt as a way of describing movement.

Really enjoying the characters. Particularly like the way Dewi explains to Ken why she wants/needs him to do things. So different from the male alphaholes in some books. It is always good to respect the intelligence of your partner

Have to say that Sophia annoyed me. She was so self centred, yes a breast cancer diagnosis at 18 is incredibly hard to come to terms with when she was little more than a child herself. I do thing 10 years later she should have grown up enough to talk to her family. I ended up thinking that carter and the girls deserved someone much better than her.
