Romival seems to be constantly 'smirking' or 'smug'. It's not sexy.

That was glorious! Hattie and Holly overhearing Tuvo commenting on Hattie's size and then Holly's reaction and defense of her friend was epic! LOVED it. It's great to see chronic illness and pain represented in a character but then the author says the character has had it for 3 weeks. 3 weeks? At 3 weeks anyone would still be in the early stages, thinking there is hope and a cure.
Try living with chronic pain and illness for years, decades even, with no hope of healing left. Then we'd really be represented.

FFS, someone from this horrible, horrible rapey town needs to explain to Sadie (and the reader) what she is. Their treatment of her when she's obviously ignorant is disgusting! They should protect all women including those in Sadie's state. Ugh!!
