At the rate I’m going, it’s going to take me all year to slog through this.

I mean he wasn’t? He was doing the right thing and investigating every avenue? You literally don’t know him and everyone said he was a good sheriff. What even is this book?

Well I’m already calling bullshit on that nonsense.

I paid a lot more money for this book than I’d have liked (and I shopped around for the best deal) and it was 100% not worth it.

How is this so good?? Like I wanted it to be but never has a book actually lived up to its hype when the hype is so big. But this. This. Holy shit can I call in sick for work??

Is it weird if I say I’m not sure I’m ready to read this?

I’m almost half way through this book and almost nothing interesting has happened.

See because I’m supposed to have sympathy for her here but I’m siding with Oz and Themmie.

I think I’m too grumpy and tired to properly appreciate this because I don’t think that was teasing, that was just straight up mean.

Sometimes I’d just like to read a book where I don’t think the female MC is the worst.

The problem with this story is that it’s all based around the simple fact that Warin couldn’t just ask her on a date like a normal person. There’s no real plot, the characters are boring and nothing is happening.

And now we’re starting off with lies and manipulation. Stellar.

How is it possibly going to take me 2 hours to read the last 50 pages of this book?? Honestly, why is this book so long? Almost nothing has happened.

Being an adult reading this (well rereading), it’s so obvious how Cal manipulates Morgan.

Reading this purely for the nostalgia. And maybe the chance it’ll cure my reading slump.

It’s not that I dislike this it’s that I’m over a hundred pages in and sweet fuck all has happened.

I can just tell I’ve reached the incredibly dumb lying part of this book and I’m going to hate it.
