Furthermore, Plato refuted thrasymachus’ claim that justice is the interest of the stronger party because law makers can make insufficient laws unintentionally, and that means disobeying the intentions of the law. He also points that unjust man is ignorant and the just man is knowledgable by virtue of the unjust making competition, and the just seeking knowledge instead competing only against having none.

Plato argues that justice cannot be giving each his due, because it would mean human error would make hurting the friend and helping the ally possible, it would allow villains into society as those who can keep peace are equally qualified to break it, and that to hurt an enemy is to commit injustice, as justice is human excellence, and hurting people makes people less excellent.

Angel Cesa Plato, or rather Socrates also makes the argument that Law is a career with obligations, and that wage-making is a separate undertaking; and by virtue of this we cannot boil Politics down to corruption. Most importantly Socrates tells us that injustice is not human excellence because it is a source of disunity, meaning weakness in the pursuit of goals, while justice is, because it creates unity within a group, allowing the pursuit of the (goal) good life.
