I used to write in run-on sentences when I was in primary school in Singapore for my Chinese composition. My Chinese teacher will criticize me for a writing run on sentences. Sentence is full of commas with phrases. That memory have always stayed with me because I still honestly feel like I’ve not done something wrong.

For river songs by Steve, so far it has multiple sentences with what normally characterize as run on, with tons of phrases back into a sentence. But it works so well. Similar to the pacing of Night Bitch, the wording packs a punch in driving the pace of the story.
