He then starts his own company KAT that insures people and IF they are kidnapped either negotiates the ransom or worst case scenario rescues them. He has a contract on Waverly Davenport a genius nerd that developed a new technology that would disrupt the criminal world. When she is kidnapped and the ones holding her are asking a fortune for her he realizes rescue is the only option.

When he gets to the place she is being held he discovers kidnappers are being paid to let her die and they have no intention to let her go. He finds her sick and injured, going septic. Kane is prepared as he brought drugs to help provided by his brother who is a doctor. It takes 2 days for her fever to break and regain consciousness. Then they have to get away to a safe place back in the states.

Oh this one is really good so far. We see Kane (one of the big Townsend family) from when he was a kid, growing up and going to college and being recruited by the FBI as hostage negotiator. He burns out big time after 3 yrs due to the fact he losing a lot of kidnapped victims as the legal system moves too slow to go in and rescue them.
