I don’t know why it’s taking me so long to read this book. Like yeah, it’s dense feminist theory, but that’s not as if I’ve never read dense feminist theory before, and much quicker.

It’s easy to forget that this book was published in 1983. So much of it is still applicable to this day. I have so many post-its and highlighted passages.

This book is amazing but every sentence packs so strong a punch of meanings and implications that I always have to pause after a few pages because otherwise it fries my brain.
