I did just this at 16. No one seemed to understand why it wasn't obvious to me; I couldn't tell when they were trying to say

I really want to know what other people think of this. Is he actually articulating a distinct personality type? Because I relate to it, a lot, but I hate the generalizations and lecturing tone. Is there a better book I could read on similar topic?

I love this concept. The book is a little heavy-handed at times, generalizing as it tries to carve out a distinct personality type, but it's probably necessary for such a new idea. The current section is reminding me of how viscerally uncomfortable I was with the daily pledge of allegiance in elementary school.
