MC 1 is a bit of a jerk which is giving me major red flags, but so far the thing I can't overlook is that the author recommended her own book about 5% in.... the cringe factor is unreal!!!

Oof. I’m cringing right now. She couldn’t have written any other author?😭 😭
Okay, now I kinda admire the hustle because at 22% she recommends a different one of her own books 🤪🤪🤪When I open the door, I find Noah curled up on my couch with my damn Peach Rings, reading my copy of Broken Vows, Secret Games Book One by Penny and Ariel Dawn.
I think Hell has literally frozen over.
"What the hell are you doing?" I squeak. For starters, my brother doesn't read, period, let alone read romance novels.

OMG. The self-promo inside the book??? 🤯😭 I had to physically clutch my pearls from the secondhand cringe, babe. Like?? She's really doing that?? Bold of her to try it 😂 Also MC1 being a walking red flag just adds flavor to the chaos I guess. 👁👄👁 I’m morbidly horrified. 😨
