This book is just so much after having read through Shadows Upon Time. It's actually insane how much more meat there is. Somehow there's *so much more* than there *already was*.

I always forget how long Ruocchio's climactic sequences manage to be. "Oh hey, only *checks watch* wait a minute, I still have almost 100 pages left??"

Not really anything more I can say except that this book is unfathomably good. 2/3's through this reread, will 100% finish by the end of the month. Likely a bit earlier.

Chapter 43 will never not go hard. Several things that everybody continues to overlook that I'm just now noticing. So crazy.

The foreshadowing is actually unbelievable.
