Eating at restaurants in fiction always puzzles me. Hayley orders her lunch; she and her company exchange about 30 seconds of niceties; lunch is delivered.
Is this a fast food type of place where lunch orders are already plated up and only need to be picked up from the counter to be delivered to the customer, or was there a long pause in the conversation that wasn’t mentioned?

She greated all the passengers and knows the crew, if anything, she’s useful as a source of how many people need to be pulled out of the water.
