Zeus just said to Ares, “Do not come whining here, Sir-Facing-both-ways. I hate you worst of all the gods in Olympus,” (his own son, by the way), and then Hera is out here catching strays cause he says “you have the intolerable and stubborn spirit of your mother Hera.” He ties it all together by saying that if Ares wasn’t his son, he’d be dead for being “so destructive,” and I think that’s wild.

Zeus is about to piss me off, why’d he kill Patroclus? why does he get to write fate, that isn’t fair (even though he traded his own son for it). everyone is distraught over Patroclus’ death though so that is something. Hector is a chunt I’m glad he dies

also this chapter is really funny because why did Zeus start listing all the women he’d cheated on Hera with, and why did Hera refer to Poseidon as her brother and brother-in-law 😭 originator of the sister/wife meme
