Meh

Avia has become a forgotten character. She shows up when they need a human torch or to be Chases love interest. And Riekas attitude towards her… Avia can’t say anything without Reika getting angry at her. Avia has so much potential but it feels like the author just dislikes her and uses her as Riekas punching bag

So. Bored.

Honestly, the story is not that bad. It does have errors and can be redundant. The characters ask questions that I’m sure the author thought the reader would be asking but they would’ve never crossed my mind. Ex: why would a secluded village that doesn’t allow visitors have spare houses? I can think of manyy reasons but the author chose to go with: to house injured ppl… wouldn’t they have an infirmary alr?

Im sorry, chapter 20 was sooo cringe! I know this was supposed to be such a powerful chapter but I found really funny and that was not the goal 🙃

Okay MFC is a lesbian yay 🎉 there are more errors now compared to the beginning of the book, the dialogue sucks most of the time but the story is so fast paced I don’t mind reading it.

Soooo much telling instead of showing

This book is infuriating but not enough to DNF… for now. Also I’m assuming Chase and Rieka are going to get together… I don’t like that. LEAVE THAT BOY ALONE

The view of adults as either ultimate protectors or the root of all evil that just hate children and want to harm them is making it very hard to believe this book was not written by a child that still sees the world in that black and white.

Also the way Scorpio ppl speak is PISSING ME OFF!
