Short & might be U for my A-Z title challenge. Very dense with interesting facts — like the stats on the recurrence of preeclampsia or hyperemesis with subsequent pregnancies. (I had both with my 6yo.)

“I hope no one needs to read this book for themselves, but I hope everyone reads it to better understand the experiences of others.”

I often talk to patients’ families who are considering their next pregnancy & the likelihood that complications that occurred with this patient will happen again for a sibling. I counsel on genetic testing, but this might be a book that helps more with the mental health side.
