I’ve been trying with this book for a while but it’s just not sticking. MCs story started in previous book and so you get no build up or background mmc like her already so much that he bought a company to have her work at and move accross the world for. There’s a marriage of convenience, a sister who she is trying to adopt and get out of an abusive situation with the mom

And mom’s boyfriend. Then there is some storyline with FMC self harming and mmc having adhd. Finally there is a whole other story with glimpses of another couple which I didn’t read enough to find out the connection to the mcs (but apparently it’s the unrequited love story of there great grandparents). That story was at least semi interesting. This book was just too disjointed for me to get into
