Look at me still reading this book. Trigg is seriously unhinged and not really in a cute way. Ridge seems too aloof and a bit too full of himself, and Hart doesn’t really seems to fit with the other two guys. The whole pack dynamic here just feels weird. I’ve already mad e it this far so I’m optimistic that I’ll make it the rest of the way through.

Cool, cool, cool. Looks at Hart being totally useless when they’re ambushed and Ridge gets shot. Kinda point-in-case of them not all fitting a vibe as a pack. Spoke muuuuch too soon about optimistically finishing this. lol.

Also — I feel like the Hart helping Trigg with Quincy scene could have been way cuter and was a really great opportunity to delve into a bromance between Trigg and Hart…I kinda feel like the whole of this book is just sort of falling short in its delivery.

Idk about this one. I don’t generally vibe with RH where the guys aren’t already tight or have a history together. I mean I guess it can be fun to see them all come together (like Tate James’s Hades) but I’m just not sure it’s working enough for me to continue investing time here before DNFing. Trigg is also unhinged but I’m not sure that’s in a fun way either like some of JW’s other OV books.
