At the point in the story where Dan Jones heroically takes on the battle of pronouncing the names of the Magyar tribes leaders (attacking Augsburg) and fails 🤭, though not too badly and absolutely forgiveably. 😅

Glad it's not unforgivable. :) I love this book, though I read it and I'm sure I mispronounced those names, too! Perhaps unforgivably.

You, like him, must simply have interpreted it -naturally!- along the rules of English pronounciation. Hardly a capital sin and it's not as if these names turned up regularly, unless someone specializes in the region + era. 😊
