At least I got to read through the chapter on the Purge (Night of the Long Knives). It's easy to see how heavily Chiaverini relied on this book for "Resistance Women."

I was not expecting so much on the German royal family. Really, I didn't know there was still a royal German family, that was hoping to be restored, in the 1930s. (Or that in the 21st century, they are still around and still trying to get property back.)

This exchange was repeated verbatim in "Resistance Women!"
