The drama. The whole book is fmc trying to navigate her first year making friends and crushing on the hot frat brother who everyone thinks is mysterious and hot. I didn’t care for all the in-fighting with the girls and details about who dated who and cheated when. I’m too old for that shit. But I did like FMC and her come backs. She stood up for herself a couple times and I enjoyed her witty retorts.

I read that there were some chapters in mmc pov but at almost 75% in that hasn’t happened and with the mmc basically giving nothing it’s hard to tell where he even stands when it comes to FMC. Lastly spice, was it closed door? Cause it was 2 sentences and didn’t even clarify who made the first move. In the end this just wasn’t it but I did give it the old college try - tee-hee!

Normally these situations are not written realistically and have me thinking no one would actually say that or that sounds corny. Not the case here I thought FMC was believable in these interactions. I wanted more from mmc. They hung out a lot but he never made a move and at times he acted annoyed she still hung out with step brother but didn’t really do more than that
