so i finished reading it and just eh. i mean i liked it the beginning and the topic of grendel and biblical references towards beowulf too, but after they killed grendel’s mom it was boring. it felt like a whole love poem to beowulf in the way they described him and his heroism. like blah blah we know he’s the man. woman don’t have a role and when they do they’re submissive or evil.
